Am I the last one?

Okay, so I got bored in Geography class today and drew a rhinoceros. (There was a photograph and a description in my textbook about how rhinos are important for my country [South Africa]'s tourism industry, as well as other things, and about how they are being poached to extinction.) One of many effects caused by depleting rhinoceros numbers is the bird I also drew in the picture above, called a "Renostervoël" and its numbers, since it lives with rhinos and eats parasitic insects off the rhino while the presence of the rhino scares off any predators it would otherwise face.

Over 620 Rhinos have been killed already THIS YEAR. That's like 2-a-day! Compare that with 2007's total of 3 poached rhinos and you can see why poaching is becoming a huge problem. Please don't let these unusual creatures be another Dodo story.For more info, use this link below:
